/dis/location brings together artists who engage in a two-part creative practice, bound by the limitations of representation or cultural expectations, entrenched within institutional structures, in an effort I see as artistic and personal survival. This is a part of an on-going investigation (some would call obsession) into the philosophies behind re-presentation and what this may mean when we transform it into representation.
