Look at my Paintings

Don't let the images fool you. This is a painting exhibition that is both about what painting is, but also what painting isn't. Jessica Tanto invites us to give our eyes a break and instead explore with smell and touch. Unintentionally revealing our ocular dependancy, one needs to (mostly) trust their noses to navigate the space, forcing you to ponder, "if you can't see the painting, is it really a painting?" Valiantly defying convention, she shows us how liberating it is to be able to close our eyes in order to open up our minds to experience.
